MANILA, March 14 (PNA) -- The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Sunday urged the 17 local government units (LGU) in Metro Manila to update their disaster preparedness plans and intensify efforts to educate the public about natural disasters such as earthquakes similar to the one that hit Japan last Friday.
